Welcome to Hispanistan.com. The goal of this web site is to make the American politicians and public realize how it feels when someone refers to a region of your country as something other than USA. If Norhtern Iraq is going to be called "Kurdistan", then, using the same logic, southwestern USA could be called Hispanistan. If you are not comfortable calling most of California, New Mexico and most of Texas "Hispanistan", then please stop calling Northern Iraq Kurdistan.
